Good value for my home gym

I was looking for some new gear for my home gym and MaxFit had some of the best prices. I bought a 'levypainosarja 50mm' during their 'kesäale' and got 20% off, which was a nice saving. The quality seems good for what I paid. Delivery took about a week to get to me, which was fine. Overall, I think I got a good deal here.

Ordered a kuntosalipenkki

I recently purchased a 'kuntosalipenkki' from MaxFit. The ordering process was straightforward on their website, no issues there. It took about 6 business days for the bench to arrive at my door, which was reasonable. The packaging was a bit beat up on one corner, but the bench itself was undamaged. Assembly was fairly easy with the included instructions, and all the parts were there. The bench feels sturdy and well-built, definitely suitable for home use. I had a quick question about maintenance and used their online chat; the response was quick and helpful. Good experience overall, especially for a larger item.

Love my new dumbbells!

I just got the 'säädettävä käsipaino' set and I love them! They are so convenient and save a ton of space. The quality is fantastic and they adjust super easily. Shipping was quicker than I expected too. I'm definitely going to shop here again for more equipment. You should totally check them out!

Solid equipment, small delay

I ordered a 'vastuskumi' and a 'hierontapallo'. The products themselves are really good; the resistance band has good tension and the massage ball works well for sore muscles. My order took 8 days to arrive, which was a little longer than I hoped, but not a huge deal. Everything was well-packaged. The prices were competitive for the quality. I'd buy from them again, but maybe not if I needed something super urgently.

Anyone know if MaxFit offers student discounts? I'm trying to kit out my home gym on a budget.

D Derek 2 months ago

i think i saw something about student discounts on their site before, check their FAQ or a dedicated student discount page if they have one.

N Nick 2 months ago

They do! You usually need to verify your student status, but it's a decent percentage off, like 10-15% sometimes.

Is MaxFit legit? Thinking about dropping some serious cash on a power cage and don't want to get scammed.

W Wendy Hughes 2 months ago

Totally legit. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them, including a squat rack. They're a real company, based in Finland, not some fly-by-night operation.

R Ryan 2 months ago

Yeah, they're reliable. Good quality gear and decent customer service from my experience. You're safe with them.

Hey guys, thinking about grabbing some adjustable dumbbells from MaxFit. Are they any good? I've seen some similar ones on Amazon for cheaper, wondering if MaxFit is actually better quality.

G Gwen Q. 2 months ago

MaxFit's adjustable dumbbells are solid, I got a pair last year and they've held up great. Much sturdier than some of the flimsier ones I've seen. Worth the extra few bucks imo.

B Beth Romero 2 months ago

Yeah, I had some cheap ones before and they broke. MaxFit's feel way more durable. Plus they're a Finnish company, so maybe less sketch than some random Amazon seller?

Just got some weight plates, but they're not quite right. How easy are returns with MaxFit? Do I have to pay for shipping back?

S Sophie 1 month ago

Returns were pretty straightforward for me, I sent back a bench a few months ago. I think you might have to cover return shipping if it's not their fault.

T Tom D. 1 month ago

Yeah, I returned a resistance band once. You fill out a form and send it back. Double check their policy on who pays for return shipping, I don't quite remember.

I'm looking at their adjustable kettlebell. I've used some from Rogue Fitness before. How does MaxFit's compare? Is it similar quality or a step down?

N Neil 2 months ago

MaxFit's adjustable kettlebell is pretty solid, comparable to Rogue's entry-level stuff, maybe not their competition grade. It's a good value though.

N Nick Osei 2 months ago

I have both a MaxFit and a Rogue. The MaxFit one is good, definitely not a step down quality-wise for home use. Rogue might have a slightly nicer finish, but performance wise they're both great.

how long does maxfit usually take to ship to california? trying to figure out if i should just get something local if it's gonna take forever.

J Julia P. 2 months ago

Mine took about 1.5 - 2 weeks to get to Florida. I think it depends on the size of the item, but usually not super fast since they're coming from Finland.

D Derek G. 2 months ago

Expect a bit of a wait, like 10-14 days probably. They ship internationally so it's not Amazon Prime speeds.
